The Rails to trails initiative is a plan that has been outlined by Cornell University to help design a system of trails that follow the old railroad tracks.

Cornell University Design Connect did a study for the Friends organization in December of 2015 outlining a plan for the development of a trail for the community.

   There is a plan.  Steuben County has removed the rails, the plan needs to be reviewed and we need support and funding to continue the project.
